This is an original screen print by contemporary artist Kyle Brown, "Bluegill no. 1".
"I grew up catching bream (bluegill) on a lake alongside a rockpile that gave harbor to the schools of small fish. We would use bread for bait. If we ran out of bread, we could often just dangle our shiny hooks in the water and they would bite. I created this print with the black bluegill "tab" in mind as the most distinctive feature of the species."
Hand-pulled screen print, unframed
15 x 22 inches, ink on paper, two paper types: Arches Cover 250g mouldmade in France, or Speckletone by French Paper Co.
